The Best Morning and Nighttime Routines | Bookends for Balance
It’s no secret that I’m one of those annoying morning people who jumps out of bed at the crack of dawn with a smile on my face.
The start of a fresh new day energizes me like a bolt of electricity or 10 cups of strong coffee! Of course, this rise-and-shine attitude also means I’m falling asleep by 8:00 pm.
So, while my morning routine is a piece of cake, I’ve had to train myself to stick to a peaceful evening routine to gradually wind down instead of crashing and burning.
Balancing your morning and nighttime routines is called BOOKENDING, and just like the bookends on your shelf, your personal bookends hold you steady, keep you balanced, and prevent you from falling over.
