I’m not one of those coaches who pushes her clients to go-go-go all the time.
We have highs and lows when it come to our energy levels. And if you’re like most people, the upcoming winter season can leave you feeling depleted and lethargic.
Slowing down at the end of the year is natural:
- From forces outside us: lousy weather, holiday shopping marathons, parties to host, school events, and countless family responsibilities.
- From forces within us: shame about not reaching your new year’s resolutions, anxiety from eating too much junk, and the desire to hide under the covers until January.
I, for one, am looking forward to taking it easy this season while watching holiday parades and wrapping presents in my jammies.
But wouldn’t all that slowing down and relaxation seem extra sweet if we tie up some loose ends first? I don’t want to worry about unfinished goals while I’m trying to enjoy a slice of chocolate peppermint pie.
I challenge you to BE STRONG for one last gasp of productivity before you cozy up!
