Life Editor Weekend is ALL INCLUSIVE for August 2023 Retreat!

When you put yourself out there as a “public figure,” you open yourself up to all kinds of feedback and criticism.

With more than 30,000 followers across social media and on my email subscriber list, it’s inevitable that I get comments from trolls and haters.

Here’s some of the colorful feedback I’ve received:

• “Your worksheets look crappy and unprofessional.”
• “I hate the voice you use in your videos, and the music sucks.”
• “Your nose looks like a bird’s beak, you f***ing [slur].”
• “So-and-so has much better planners than you.”
• “You’re going to hell because you’re a bisexual / a vegan / a Buddhist / a childless career woman / a liberal / all of the above.”
• And numerous creeps sliding into my DMs with their unsolicited d**k pics.

Yeah, sometimes feedback really hurts.

But that’s when I follow Step 2 of the Life Editing Process and delete, delete, delete!

Of course I ignore the feedback from bullies, but there’s one group of people who always give me thoughtful critiques from a place of love.

I call them my Super Fans because they embrace life editing and truly appreciate the goodness and inspiration I’m putting out into the world . . . even if I’m not perfect.

And if you’re reading this blog post, then you’re a Super Fan. High five!

Years ago when I hosted several in-person retreats per year, my Super Fans told me that I was making it difficult for them to come to my retreats. My ears perked up, and I knew I had to make some changes.

The problem was it became expensive for folks to pay for a ticket to the event, most of their food, their hotel rooms, and transportation.

Their wallets were screaming for mercy!
