Question of the Week: What’s the Happiest Part of Your Day?

You know how much I love gratitude journals, but honestly, sometimes it’s a lot of pressure to come up with a big list of things to be grateful for every day.

I got this idea from the book The Magic, and it makes practicing gratitude a no-brainer activity. At night before you go to bed, choose the happiest, best thing that happened to you that day.

By choosing just one happy part of your day, you focus on being thankful plus you set yourself up to have good dreams at night. Really, how often to do go to sleep thinking and brooding about all the bad things that happened during your day?

Stop it! Instead, reflect on your entire day and choose the happiest part.

In the comments below, share the happiest part of your day.

Hi Sage, this one’s easy. It’s my morning exercise, specifically when I walk. I love to listen to the sounds of the city I’m in. I travel a lot so it helps me to get my bearings, get a sense of the city, and feel comfortable (instead of afraid).

Yesterday it was finally getting out on the tennis courts after a week’s worth of rain! Today, so far, seeing the sun shining again and walking my dogs before work. 🙂

Walking my puppy is a very happy part of my day too. 🙂

Today it was that I completed all my weight sets at the gym! My arms were quivering when I was done, but I did every last lift, yay! And, the days only half over so far, so you never know. What about you?

Awesome! A good workout always makes me happy too. Today I’m editing promotional photos for my new coaching programs, and planning the new content is a very happy task for me. 🙂
