Question of the Week: May 7, 2013

The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies, and I feel like I learn something new every time I watch it.

What do you think? Which trait do you like best? Or would you choose Dorothy’s sense of home and familiarity?

I’m leaning towards courage because being brave has helped me when my brains were lacking. I also think following your heart is a courageous act.

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

I want all of them, because imagining being *all* of any one of those is awful. All brains and no heart could mean cold and ruthless. All heart and no brains isn’t good either. Courage without brains seems like a recipe for disaster (and an early death), and courage without heart seems almost as bad.

Haha! Oh my gosh, courage without brains will certainly lead to early death! 🙂 You’re right that we have to be a perfect mix of all 3.

I’d definitely choose courage. Courage is the absolute defining characteristic of all success people – the guts to charge ahead and wade through all sorts of difficulties.

Courage! Because your heart and your brain can make all the plans and wishes they want but without a little bravery they may never come to fruition.

I love that! We all have to be brave if we want our dreams to come true.

I want to have little bits of each trait. It keeps me well rounded 🙂

Good answer! Skyla would choose Toto’s curiosity.
