Link Roundup: February 23, 2013
Spring is still a month away, but it’s feeling kind of spring-ish around here. The trees lining the pond in our apartment complex have tiny pink flowers on their branches.
I hope this doesn’t sound like bragging to those of you who are still shoveling snow off your driveways every morning. I do remember what that was like.
I’ve mentioned before that the weather in San Francisco is about the same all year. It’s a mix of spring and fall (Sprall? Fing?). At least Punxsutawney Phil said it will be an early spring, so your weather woes should come to an end soon, right?
Anyhoo, I’ll be watching the Academy Awards this Sunday—another sign that spring is on the way! Did you see any of the Oscar nominated movies?
While I judge the red-carpet fashions (while lounging in my pajamas), here are some tidbits for you to peruse at your leisure.

So jealous spring is heading your way! I crave some green leaves and birds singing right now 🙂 Hope you are enjoying the Oscars tonight. Heather
Can I come visit you? Like now? I’m craving sun, flowers and warm weather SO bad right now! Those blossoms are just gorgeous. I’d love to live somewhere that rarely gets below freezing.
YES!!! Come visit me now and we’ll go to all the best vegan restaurants and enjoy the sunshine. 🙂
Can’t wait for the spring! It’s been a rough end of fall/winter here with the hurricane/noreaster/blizzard so I’m ready for some mild weather 🙂 Thanks for the links!
I know, the weather’s been horrible by you this winter. 🙁 I guess that means you should come visit me, right? 🙂
Yes, spring is coming! Is that an almond tree in the photo? It looks like the same buds that we have on our tree.
I have no idea, but the ducks like to hang out under it all day. I just love the pink buds.
I just did a spring post too – easy for us with you being in California and me in Florida!
I know! We’ve got it so easy. But no place is perfect. People in the MidWest get the snow, but they don’t get the earthquakes and hurricanes.
It’s hurricanes and having to be careful of getting 3rd degree burns or heat stroke here in the summer!
Wanted to let you know your blog is on my featured links on this evening’s post. It’s scheduled to post at 7:30, just a few minutes now.
Have a great week!
