How People Treat You Is Their Karma
Agree or disagree?
I’m a big Wayne Dyer fan, and I heard him speak last year at the “I Can Do It!” IGNITE conference. I’m also a big believer of karma.
Most people think karma is when a bad thing happens to you because you did something bad, but karma is simply a reaction to any energy that you put out into the world.
Share goodness and light, and goodness and light comes back to you.
Share anger and misery, and anger and misery will come back to you.
One of my favorite books, A Complaint Free World by Will Bowen, says that people who hurt are hurting. I really believe that’s true. So if someone is mean to you, that’s on them and the universe will sort things out. How you respond to that negativity (ie, the energy you put out), will determine what karma you will receive.

In the comments below, let me know the kind of karmic reactions you’re seeing in your life.
I agree! I’m still struggling a bit with how I react to some people, but am getting better and I’ve found it makes a huge difference in how I feel.
I’m not a believer in true Karma, but I appreciate the concept. Smiles are contagious they say!
I agree, smiles ARE contagious! Happy Friday. 🙂
I definitely believe in Karma. I think that you receive what you give for the most part although I’ve seen some really disgusting people receiving a lot of good which is mind boggling to me but I always tell myself that it’ll definitely come back. I love that quote and agree that people who are hurt are hurting.
I know, life seems so unfair when bad people seem to have good luck. I too believe that it will eventually come back to them. We don’t know what’s going on in people’s private lives, so they may already be suffering in another way.
I’m going to work on being happier and more loving just to cover my bases. 🙂
