Question of the Week: What Will You Never Outgrow?
OK, so you’re not Peter Pan. But I’ll bet there are a few things you cling to from your childhood despite technically being an “adult” now.
So, what will you never outgrow?
Dancing in front of your bedroom mirror while singing into a hairbrush? Eating a bowl of sugary cereal while watching cartoons on Saturday morning? Cuddling an ancient teddy bear? Reading vampire teen romance novels?
In the comments below, share the things you’ll never outgrow. No judgements!
I’ll never outgrow: reading fashion magazines on plane rides, eating ice cream (even on a cold day), and cheering on my Auburn Tigers!
Great question, Sage!
I love reading a huge stack of magazines on the plane too, Casie. 🙂
I’ll never outgrow my love of Where the Red Fern Grows, Care Bears and neverending curiosity. And if my “Blankie” didn’t fall apart in the laundry when I was in High School I’d still have that too 😉
Why did you have to mention “Where the Red Fern Grows”? Now I’ll be crying all day. And I totally thought you wrote “Neverending Story” instead of “neverending curiosity.” I’m such an 80s kid.
I’ll never every outgrow my love of exploring & adventure. Certain movies I love, too, like the Wizard of Oz. That could never grow old for me! 🙂
I’ve seen the Wizard of Oz at least 25 times and I never get tired of it. Love it!
My sisters and the things we like to do together…most of which are from our childhood – playing board games, eating our favorite cookies, playing dress up (at the thrift store, hoo-boy are there some dress up gems there), and reading YA books together.
I love board games too. Little known fact: I’m the Queen of Trivial Pursuit. 🙂
I will never outgrow my love for fruit snacks and gummy bears 🙂 Also dancing and singing like a fool! Heather
I love to sing real loud and off key. 🙂
