Curious About Life Coaching? Take the Quiz!

Now that I’ve launched my redesigned life coaching programs, I thought it’d be a good idea to set the record straight about who I work with and who I don’t work with. Life coaching isn’t right for everyone, but I’ve also noticed people struggling on their own when they could really benefit from working with a coach.

Take this quiz to see if life coaching could help you. As you’ll see, life coaching very serious and dignified business. 🙂

1. It’s 5:00 am and you are:

A. Sound asleep and won’t get up for a few more hours…after hitting the snooze button 2, 3, or 4 times.

B. Lying in bed going over all the things you have to do today. Should you get up? Should you try to sleep more? How will you get everything done?

C. On your fifth cup of coffee and have already showered, organized your closet, mopped the kitchen floor, written a book, and planned your goals for the next 5 years.

2. At work:

A. You drift through the days not really caring if you get the work done. It’s just a job.

B. You feel like you should be doing more with your life. Your job is OK, but sometimes you dream about going for a promotion, changing careers, or starting your own business.

C. You run a 6-figure, highly successful business. Even your dog has her own personal assistant.

3. Your love life:

A. Is nonexistent. You haven’t been on a date since *NSYNC were touring.

B. Is “meh.” It’s not good or bad. You wish you had a stronger relationship with your partner and had an idea of where this is going and what’s next.

C. Is phenomenal. You’ve been with your partner for 25 years and you regularly get complaints from your neighbors because they can hear you two loudly having sex all the time.

4. When you think about your body:

A. Actually, you try not to think about it…or look at yourself in the mirror…or go out in public.

B. You wonder what happened to that cute physique you used to have. It’s not that you look bad, but it’d be nice if your curves weren’t so jiggly.

C. You remember how great it felt to win that fitness bikini body contest last month and that time you battled 20 ninjas without breaking a sweat.

5. When you set a goal:

A. Nothing happens. Your dreams are just that: dreams without planning or action. You are firmly planted in your comfort zone.

B. You might reach it out of sheer luck, or you make a lot of progress for a few days or weeks before stalling out. You could really use some help handling the obstacles that come up.

C. It’s reached in 10 seconds flat. In fact, there’s not much you haven’t done in your life. All that’s left is for you to take over the world. Mwahahahaha!!!

Haha! Aw, you’re so sweet! Sooner or later, we all need someone to support us whether that’s a life coach, spouse, friend, etc. And my clients make me feel like a million bucks. 😉

I LOVE today’s photo! It took me a long time to recognize that you can only help people who are ready to help themselves.

Thanks, Gillian! Gotta love pink. 🙂 I think everyone wants to be able to help other people improve their lives, but in the end the only person you can change is yourself. My clients have to be ready to change themselves before I can work with them.
