Valentine’s Day Link Love

I’m in Chicago this week for work stuff. (Oh yeah…I have a job outside this blog…I guess I better be productive or something…) Don’t worry, I’m still traveling in style.

Anyhoo, while I’m freezing my butt off in the Windy City, here are some sweet links for Valentine’s Day that are sure to warm your heart.

For Your Heart

This is by far my favorite marriage proposal flash mob (and I’ve watched a lot!). The song “Lovely Day” is one of my favorite love songs, and I get teary eyed every time I watch this.

For Your Tummy

Do you dabble? You should! Cara at idabble always has the most fun party ideas, recipes, and DIY projects. For Valentine’s Day, she shows you how to make Cupid Cupcakes. Resistance is futile.

For Your Booty

Because I L-U-V Madonna, I’m gonna shake my booty ‘cause I wanna!

For Your Spirit

Callie at Coffee and Cardigans gets reflective about past relationships in her post That Thing Called Love and asks, What have you learned from your past loves?

For Your Inner Fashion Diva

Heather and Kayla at H&K Style Journey say We Heart Valentine’s Day, and they’ve got the outfits to prove it.

For Your Funny Bone

What’s not to love about Lionel Richie? Especially this clever remix of his cheese-tastic 80s song, “Hello.”

oh gosh, that flash mob was amazing! It takes the cake. Have you see the Bruno Mars Disney marriage proposal flash mob? That’s another favorite!

Thanks for the shout out Sage, that was so very sweet of you 🙂 Hope the Windy city treats you kindly, i.e. isn’t frigid!

I watch WAY too many flash mob videos and I actually performed in a Flash Mob America dance last summer. It was so much fun!

It was a little frigid in Chicago. I don’t know how I handled the cold when I used to live there. I love your blog, and your cupcakes were so cute that they deserved to be shared. 🙂

Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s too bad you have to be away from home for it, but hopefully the trip isn’t too bad. It is quite cold in the Midwest right now, though!

We’re celebrating by having a quiet night home with the girls. 🙂
