How To Make a Vision Board

Can a magazine collage really help you achieve your wildest dreams?

You bet!

Today’s video is all about vision boards. A vision board is a large poster covered in pictures of the people, places, things, and experiences that you want.

Vision boards help you get really clear about your goals, and clarity is extremely important because you can’t move forward unless you know where you want to go.

In this video, you’ll learn

  • What a vision board is and why you need to make one today
  • The steps for creating your own personalized board
  • Why Pinterest isn’t enough
  • How you can use your vision board to achieve your goals

Be on the lookout for a cameo from my puppy, Skyla.

I screamed with excitement when I saw that you also have Maria Menounos in your vision board. Haha I love her and also have her on my vision board. She is amazing!

I loved when you picked up the ESPN magazine. lol!

I used to create collages when I was a teenager and loved it, but it was more geared towards fashion stuff. Vision boards sound like a wonderful idea to motivate!

Sage you are so freaking cute! I love this video so much (I may or may not have LOL’d when you said “we are sick of seeing you in sweatpants”). You are so motivating and enthusiastic and expressive. I really enjoy your videos.

I still need to do my vision board. I went backwards and did the Pinterest board first, but I think it helped me collect my thoughts to create my tangible board. It’ll definitely be a great way to unwind one day and to put all of my thoughts together. I’m actually really looking forward to it. I’ll definitely share it on my site when it is ready 🙂 Oh and I am definitely going to download the worksheet to help give me some direction. What a great idea!

Great idea and very instructive post. Nice work, Sage.
I heard about this tool years ago and, without much expectation, made one. It was about becoming female. The reality of the board focused my attention, gave me encouragement and propelled me with enthusiasm. It pushed me far down the road I wanted to travel.
