Tiny Tip Thursday: Choose a Theme For Your Day (and Freebie!)

Today, we’re talking about an intentional exercise that will make your day more meaningful and super productive. All you have to do is choose a theme for your day!

A daily theme will set you up for success and guide your actions as you tackle your to-do list, attend meetings, run errands, or any of the hundreds of things you do every day.

Now, instead of letting the day “just happen,” you can proactively choose a theme that matches how you want to feel and who you want to be.

Watch the video below for your tiny tip.

I am so happy to see this. One of the best pieces of business advice I ever heard was very similar to this and since I started having a “theme” for the day I feel so much less stressed. I have a million projects going on but I know that (for example) today is Tuesday so I am focused on my social media management project for a non profit. I don’t stress about the pattern I’m designing or my blog launch because it is not their day!

    Thanks for the worksheet Sage!

I know it is not quite the same but to me each project has a strong “theme” attached to it so when I focus on one project I am focusing on a theme (hustle, create, inspire, etc…).

I can’t believe I’m just now seeing your “theme for the day” printable! Recently, I have been writing out an intention for each day and then building my to-do list based on that. But I was just writing this out in a notebook. I had no idea you had these cute and helpful worksheets that I could use! Thanks for creating these!

This is a really great idea! It would probably keep me focused as the day goes along! Love it!

Productivity should be fun, right? We all need to play a little and make our work fun. 🙂

I will have to watch the video later, as I am at work at the moment, but I am already intrigued!

It’s a good one! Choosing a theme helps me stay on track all day.
