My Monthly Edit: March 2015

This is a series of posts where I share what I’m editing in my life and business. It’s a behind-the-scenes peek at what I’m working on, what I’m editing, and where I might be struggling.

Perfectionism sucks. Authenticity rules.

My Gratitude Foundation

March has been good to me. I was able to connect with some former clients, and it seemed like my clients had more breakthroughs and big wins this month. I’m very thankful for having the opportunity to watch folks grow into the kind of people, business owners, moms, wives, etc. that they always knew they could be.

I just mailed the Quarterly Care Packages to my 6-month and 12-month clients. See the photo above of me at the post office. It’s a glamorous life, I tell ya.

By the way, April VIP Day spots are now available. 😉

I’m also grateful for my kickass new home office! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I had it painted a dark gray color called “Man Cave.” I’m in the process of filling my office with obnoxiously bright wall art and knick knacks, and I promise, promise, promise to do an office tour soon (so stop asking!)

What I Deleted

I’m a typical Italian girl who loves her pasta, but I don’t like how eating gobs of white flour makes me feel. For the past 3 weeks I’ve been avoiding white flour products, and I definitely have more energy. Deleting “non-food” items is an ongoing process for me. My eating habits get wonky when I’m stressed out.

And speaking of stress…

What I Added

I’m up to my eyeballs in content creation for Startup In 60! It’s a time management program for busy women who want to finally start a business whether they’ve got 60 days, 60 minutes, or 60 seconds. Check out the logo:

Lots of new videos, worksheets, and action plans coming up. Doors open in one month, so stay tuned!

Another thing I added was a bunch of new clothes from ModCloth. I’m kind of obsessed with the retro, sassy styles.

What I Rearranged

Chris and I finally(!) mapped out our date night schedule that had been pushed aside for a while because of the cross-country move. Now every Wednesday is our time: no work, no business, no puppy, no excuses!

Last week we went out to eat for Chris’s birthday, and it was relaxing and romantic. I highly recommend scheduling a weekly date night with your partner, and if you’re single, plan a solo adventure for yourself.

My White Space

It seems like every time I tell you that I’m not a “woo woo” coach, I do or say something that makes me seem like an ultra spiritual hippie. Anyhoo, this month I’ve been using these amazingly beautiful Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards.

I ask a question (usually, “What do I need to know about today?”), shuffle the cards, and choose a few to inspire and guide me for the day. The images are breathtaking, and the words of wisdom help me see things in a new way or simply calm the fuck down when I’m getting anxious.

That’s My Monthly Edit for March! Thanks for being a part of it.
