My Favorite Planners for 2016

I’m usually a pretty mild-mannered Life Editor.

But the few times I get wildly excited and lose control always involve the same things. No, not chocolate vegan cupcakes or Disney movies.

It’s office supplies! I go nuts for colored markers, Post-It notes, file folders, spiral bound notebooks, and sticky labels.

And my obsession with office supplies extends to planners and organizers (of course it does!). In a typical year, I’ll purchase anywhere from 6 to 8 planners in various formats.

I’m not mindlessly snatching up planners like some kind of planner junkie hoping to get her next fix. Ooohh, laminated tabs…

I truly do use all the planners I buy, and in today’s video, I’m sharing my favorite planners for 2016, the pros and cons of each, and how I use planners to keep track of my appointments and reach my goals.

In This Video:

In the comments below, share which planners you’re using to help you edit your life in 2016 and why you love them.

I’m using three planners myself (four if you could the Epic Blog planner) and I love them all! Sure, I don’t use all equally, but they all have a place. Thanks for the roundup! Now I want to buy even more. 🙂

Help! I’m an adult with ADHD. I have a very hard time with planning/organizing, the basic executive functioning. I got the life editor in 2015 with the hopes of actually using it. Unfortunately ADHD got the best of me. I really want to be organized and I purchase things to do so, but….. I also have a HARD time breaking big tasks down into smaller tasks even though I know that’s what I should do. Anyone have any advice?

    Sage,

I’m with you. I usually purchase several planners. I love colors but I also love space to put my to do’s and a good old fashioned brain dump when I need one. I also need the time blocks to keep track of appointments but I like to see the whole month at a glance so I know what the heck I’m
    doing.

Since I’m part of the Life Editor Academy, I’m loving my Life Editor planners for 2016 plus I’m using the Passion Planner (the smaller version).

And this year, I actually created my own digital product, the 2016 Clarity Calendar. It’s my first try at designing my own tool and it’s helping me stay clear and focused this year. Plus I through in some coloring pages for fun!

Loving your videos too! Keep on sharing. The Sage Face always makes me smile.
