    What a beautiful post Sage! You are very right, forgiveness is indeed a personal thing. In fact, I feel like I have to forgive people who probably don’t even realize that they have hurt me. Saying something would probably make the situation worse. I especially liked your tips on how to forgive. I personally feel like writing a letter would be very cathartic. You can express everything clearly and completely.

      Thanks, Sarah! Writing a letter is a great way to “get it all out” as if you were really talking to that person. I don’t feel like confronting people in order to forgive them is productive. It often makes the other person defensive or angry.
