That was such a beautiful and candid post Sage! I think that everyone has high expectations in regards to at least one aspect of their life. I think my high expectations and pressure I place on myself as well as my crippling fear of failure hold me back a lot. I think that once I finally feel confident and comfortable enough to “let it go” I’ll be able to move forward with projects and things that I’ve wanted to do for a very long time.
Thanks, Sarah. It’s really hard to let go of the specific outcomes we want, but I’ve found that sometimes something even better comes along when we do.
Great article Sage! Love the tie-in with Disney! 🙂 You know I love Disney too, but it’s hard to pick just one favourite movie. I would have to say lately it is Frozen though. And what it has taught me is that I need to let go of what does not serve me and just be me! “It’s time to see what I can do, to test the limits and break through.”
