Sage, I always enjoy your Editor’s Notebook posts. This week I really liked the 7 Secret Habits of Very Wealthy People and the 30 Reasons Why Some People Always Impress You posts. Super interesting. I think I may print out those 30 reasons and post them somewhere I can read them every day. Good advice for everyone there! I’m still working on being a morning person and being positive on a daily basis even when things aren’t going my way.

I have used a simple technique for remembering people’s names for some time now. I don’t remember where I learned it but it is quite effective. When you meet someone, repeat their name back to them by saying “Nice to meet you Joe.” Then during the conversation, say their name again at least one more time. Then when ending the conversation, say their name again by saying “Hope to see you again Joe” or something similar. It really works! That and the advice to always have a firm handshake have served me well!

Yay, happy early birthday!!! Great roundup as always 🙂 I remember doing that quiz a while ago and I am ISJF which is a “Sensible Helper.” The trademarks of the directors was really interesting too! I’m a huge fan of Tim Burton’s aesthetic 🙂

If I don’t get to say it to you again before, have a very happy birthday!! Are you going to Disney? You are so close now!!! I hope you are getting all settled and that Skyla is loving her new home!

Thanks, Sarah! We’re still getting settled, so no Disney trip for this birthday. But we’ll probably go next month for a joint birthday trip for Chris’s birthday. He gets annual passes since he works for Disney.
