Business With Intention Workshop Recap

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Business With Intention workshop here in San Francisco (hosted by the lovely Jess Lively).

It was a long and exhausting day, but exhausting in a good way.

If you read my ezine, you know that I’ve got big plans coming up for my business. It’s going to be a ton of work, but I’m really excited about my new direction.

I’ll tell you more later this summer, and I know you’re going to love the new resources to help you make your life sweet!

Anyhoo, the Business With Intention workshop was a wonderful experience. The entire space was styled by Natalie from Natalie Dressed, and it felt true to Jess’s brand with its clean lines, gold accents, and vintage feel.

Each participant received a tote bag from Jess’s former business, Jess LC, that was full of goodies including a Whimsy Box, a gold necklace from Jennie Claire, note cards, calendars, free consultation gift cards, and more. I didn’t take a picture of all the loot, but trust me when I say we got a lot of pretty little things to inspire us.

Best of all was the workshop notebook. It’s truly the best conference workbook I’ve ever seen. Each module led us through the process of understanding the bigger purpose behind our businesses and how we can take intentional action to serve our clients and customers.

It was a small workshop giving me lots of one-on-one time with Jess. She was able to pull apart the layers of my business and get to the real heart of who I am and how I want to serve other women. I loved all the resources she shared, especially ways we can be more efficient and use our time wisely while still taking care of ourselves.

The food was also phenomenal! Breakfast, lunch, and snacks were provided by Casie of Skipping Scones (and it was all vegan!).

Check out the avocado pudding and blueberry scones.

Nom nom nom.

I didn’t get a good picture of lunch (which was black bean tacos) but we had some tasty mango/grapefruit drinks.

The workshop lasted all day, and while I learned a lot, it felt like we barely scratched the surface. I’m going through the rest of the workbook on my own and planning next steps.

In the end, I feel like the Business With Intention workshop made me clearer about who I am, who I serve, and the greater purpose of my work. I felt so special and taken care of, and I highly recommend attending a workshop if you have a business or are considering starting one.

Thanks, Jess!

Thank you so much, Sarah! I’m really happy you like The Sweet List. I’m trying to put more helpful content into it and not just a recap of the week’s posts.
